Dear Weinhaus Friends,
I’m excited to share some great news: we’ve officially launched our new wine import business, bringing together some of Germany’s top wine estates, the award-winning Engel Brewery, and the equally celebrated Windspiel Gin Distillery.
This Saturday, September 20th, you can get a first taste at the Steuben Parade and Oktoberfest NYC! Our friends Connie Froehlich, Philipp Haberbauer, and Bob & Anita Radske will be offering our wines — and it’s the perfect chance to celebrate, connect, and raise a glass together.
If we don’t bump into each other there, let’s schedule a time to go through the portfolio or set up a tasting. I’m especially excited about Engel’s Kellerbier and Windspiel’s London Dry Gin — both also available in alcohol-free versions — plus a wine program designed to show that German excellence goes far beyond Riesling.
Of course, Riesling remains a cornerstone, with top partners including Schloss Reinhartshausen and Baron Knyphausen (Rheingau), Metzger (Pfalz), Paulinshof (Mosel), and Winter (Rheinhessen).
Beyond that, we’re introducing award-winning Silvaner and Sekt from Schloss Sommerhausen (Franken), as well as standout reds and lesser-known white varietals from Adeneuer (Ahr), Lergenmüller (Pfalz), Behn (Mosel), Britzingen, and Schlossgut Ebringen (Baden).
Each winery expresses the best of its region — and together they showcase the future of premium German wine in the U.S.
You can explore more at www.traubengold.com, and I’d love to set up a time to taste together soon.
Looking forward to catching up and celebrating!
Kind regards,
Jan
