Founded in 1435, Weingut Schloss Sommerhausen in Franken is a historic estate now managed by the 15th generation of the Steinmann family. The winery focuses on traditional varieties like Silvaner, Riesling, and Burgunder, cultivated organically since 2011. Their commitment to sustainability is further demonstrated by their FAIR’N GREEN certification.

The estate produces a diverse range of wines, with 30% Burgunder, 25% Silvaner, 20% Riesling, and 25% other varieties. Schloss Sommerhausen is a member of the Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter (VDP).
